Why are some product attributes in Woocommerce not translatable?

Problem:
Some product attributes cannot be translated.
 
Situation:

  • Product attributes was created normally.
    • [domain]/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=product&page=product_attributes_extended
  • Occasionally, some attributes are not translatable in the setting page.
  • Also cannot be found in the WPML taxonomy translation page drop down
    • [domain]/wp-admin/admin.php?page=sitepress-multilingual-cms%2Fmenu%2Ftaxonomy-translation.php

Requirements:

  • Woocommerce
  • WPML

  • Go to “Translation Management” and “Multilingual Content Setup”
    • [domain]/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpml-translation-management%2Fmenu%2Fmain.php&sm=mcsetup
  • Scroll down to “Taxonomies Translation”
  • Find the attribute name and select “Translatable – only show translated items”
